Visit a Wisconsin park this weekend

The best parks in Wisconsin

Now that the summer weather is starting to cool down, this is a great time to get out and enjoy some of Wisconsin’s amazing parks. Whether you want to spend the afternoon having a picnic lunch, or get out and have a strenuous hike, Wisconsin’s parks offer a little something for everyone.

Copper Falls State Park

Considered one of the best parks in the state for hiking, Copper Falls has gorgeous scenery with 17 miles of trails that pass three different waterfalls. The trails range from easy to hard, for hikers of all experience levels.

Brule River State Forest

Dubbed “the River of Presidents,” Brule River has been a favorite destination for five US presidents so far. With some of the best angling in the state, including steelhead trout and brown trout, it’s easy to see why.

Devil’s Lake State Park

This lake’s incredible geology, which includes many fascinating rock formations and dramatic bluffs, not to mention the gorgeous lake. This gem of the Wisconsin Dells has featured on many a postcard, and for good reason.
